Ever dreamed of racing a Ferrari around the Monaco Grand Prix? Well, now you can thanks to Ferrari Monte Carlo Racing. Or, at least you can pretend to. On your mobile phone.
Ferrari Monte Carlo Racing is a game that puts you at the wheel of an F1 car. Your mission is to win the Monaco Grand Prix. Firstly, you need to take part in the qualifying session in order to ensure you get a high position on the starting grid. Then you pit yourself against all the other cars over three laps. You need to take into account the weather, and adjust your tire setup accordingly beforehand.
In truth, Ferrari Monte Carlo Racing is a pretty weak F1 sim. The controls are simple enough and playing seems quite fun at first, but the game quickly becomes very boring and repetitive. Worst of all, there are no decent graphics or sound effects to ease the monotony a bit.
The game does record your high scores, so there is at least some incentive to come back and play Ferrari Monte Carlo Racing again. But with just one car and one course to choose from, it's got very limited appeal.
